About the Role:

The Technical Support Specialist Immunology is a key member of the Field Service Team at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, responsible for providing expert support to the national service management in the immunology product area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first point of contact for immunology support to technicians in the event of technical problems
  • Conduct competent and independent problem and error analysis of incoming enquiries in the event of system anomalies
  • Coordinate problem solutions and rectify faults in collaboration with service technicians
  • Develop and deliver training programs for customers and technicians
  • Harmonize and introduce national service standards and service processes, including work instructions
  • Support technicians in the event of device-related escalations
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to organize events, such as workshops and trade fairs, and support ongoing projects

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of field service experience with proven success in field service
  • Strong technical knowledge (mechanics/electronics)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of (international) teams
  • Willingness to take responsibility for maintaining technical stability in the relevant product areas (automation) while ensuring and further developing device performance
  • Applicable knowledge of regulations and standards concerning IVDs
  • Fluent in German and English, willingness to travel around 60%, valid driving license

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a technical service organization, ideally in the healthcare business
