KWD Coupling Factory Dresden GmbH is a distinguished entity in the traditional Saxon mechanical engineering sector, specializing in the production of couplings. Our products are integral to machines and equipment across various industries, including raw material extraction, mechanical engineering, construction, agricultural machinery, wind energy, and steel production. Our couplings are recognized globally for their durability, functionality, and reliability.
In recent years, we have established a significant presence in the rail vehicle construction industry, providing innovative drive solutions for a wide range of powered bogies used in high-speed trains, subways, light rail systems, trams, monorail vehicles, and locomotives. Our solutions are characterized by low life cycle costs and have been successfully implemented worldwide.
Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Sales Engineer / Project Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team. This role offers:

- Initiating and negotiating orders and contracts with clients
- Exploring new markets and customers for our products, particularly within assigned projects/product groups to achieve sales targets
- Managing external sales relationships and actively developing the market within the sales area
- Conducting competitive analyses
- Collaborating with customers to design new drive solutions within the product group
- Participating in the development and modification of designs
- Customizing drive solutions in collaboration with clients
- Creating development plans, including project schedules
- Assisting in the review of specifications and conducting on-site testing
- Addressing user requirements and technical test outcomes
- Facilitating the transition of projected products to relevant departments post-order placement
- Engaging in internal project work for process optimization
- Preparing demand and supply evaluations, customer statistics, and visit reports
- Conducting post-calculation and utility cost analyses
- A cover letter indicating your earliest possible start date and salary expectations
