Job Summary
As a Product Owner (f/m/d) Mechanical Engineering Transformers at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in our mission to connect efficient factories. You will be responsible for developing software components and defining methods and SW architectural concepts for global mechanical engineering tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Define guidelines for the development of Transformer software tools and actively shape their development
- Analyze, rate, and estimate business/user requirements and design solutions in cooperation with stakeholders and the project team
- Hand over and maintain software components for in-house operation at transformer production sites and perform user support
- Help improve development methods and processes in a multi-cultural agile and highly skilled team
- Collaborate with teams from different departments and sites in an international environment
- Contribute to the Siemens Energy transformer business in terms of quality, efficiency, and sustainability as part of the future-oriented digitalization and tool development team
Requirements
- Master's degree preferably in computer science or other relevant programs like physics, electrical or mechanical engineering and/or software engineering
- Long-term experience in developing mechanical and/or electromagnetic software components and applying them to non-standard end customer requests
- Expert knowledge of transformer portfolio, which relates to electrical and/or mechanical design processes and rules as well as related manufacturing technologies
- Proficient communication skills in English and willingness to travel internationally
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and Scaled Agile Framework is preferred
- Experience in project management and leading a team
- Experience in software development projects and tools, GIT workflows as well as continuous integration and deployment
- Good knowledge of software architecture principles, micro service architecture as well as object-oriented software programming, C++ or C# programming language
