Logistics Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team at AUTO1 Group. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing our Europe-wide network of logistics partners, ensuring seamless and efficient transportation of vehicles across the continent.
Your primary focus will be on negotiating and executing contracts with suppliers and partners, as well as leading the tendering process for new logistics solutions. You will also oversee the administration system for logistics operations, ensuring accurate and efficient management of information and processes.
In addition, you will contribute to the achievement of P&L targets by managing and reporting costs, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and manage cross-functional projects powered by data-driven insights. You will also lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality within the logistics network.
Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in automotive logistics, freight forwarding, finished vehicle logistics, or transportation
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to summarize quantitative concepts into a digestible format
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with external partners and manage them independently
- Fluency in English; German, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese is a plus
- Industry knowledge and existing network of contacts within the automotive logistics companies is a plus
