About the Role

Knauf is committed to driving innovation in manufacturing operations through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. As a Digital Transformation Manager, you will play a key role in enabling self-optimizing and autonomous plant operations, leveraging scalable and low-maintenance automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Digital Roadmaps: Create realistic roadmaps for UNS, SCADA+, and MES systems aligned with Knauf's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with operators, middle management, specialists, and interdepartmental stakeholders to develop and update globally aligned specifications.
  • Design and Implement Solutions: Create detailed specifications to ensure smooth development and follow up on the implementation in collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Train and Support Personnel: Implement solutions in plants, train personnel, and identify improvements for future updates.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Present clear results, propose business solutions, and collaborate effectively with Business and IT teams to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Engineering Background: Engineer, preferably with additional education in industrial management.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communicator and listener who can convince people to work within aligned standards.
  • Process Understanding: Able to understand the intricacies of processes without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, showing high team spirit and a proactive approach.
