About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Manager to lead the strategic development of our gypsum plaster business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the global gypsum plaster portfolio within the Knauf Gypsum Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global product strategy for the gypsum plaster business, aligning with our company's values of humanity, partnership, commitment, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Act as an interface between regional and local product managers, as well as global teams such as Global R&D, Global Procurement, and Knauf Digital.
  • Derive a global product strategy by comparing product portfolios of regions and identifying needs for product or portfolio improvements.
  • Summarize identified product requirements in global projects and transfer them to the global R&D innovation pipeline.
  • Track global business results (sales, volume, EBITDA, etc.) in your product group and ensure country organizations continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
Requirements
  • Established degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing.
  • Proven experience in product management and extensive technical expertise in plaster business.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to identify market trends and portfolio gaps.
  • Fluency in English and a basic willingness to travel abroad on business.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact actively and transparently with different hierarchical levels, departments, and countries.
