Supplier Quality Assurance Lead

Your Responsibilities
  • Conducting audits and enhancing supplier performance using VDA 6.3, APQP, while evaluating their processes against IATF system requirements.
  • Ensuring manufacturability, machine capability, and process monitoring.
  • Performing Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and overseeing calibration activities.
  • Guaranteeing compliance with contractual production outputs and monitoring accordingly.
  • Carrying out root cause analysis using the 8D method (ISHIKAWA) for customer and supplier complaints.
  • Advancing the LAPP Mobility supplier management system and developing strategies to enhance supplier quality.
  • Participating in project meetings.
  • Leading FMEA sessions and tracking relevant actions.
  • Collaborating closely with procurement on strategic and operational quality tasks.
  • Assisting with customer approvals and in the event of customer complaints.
Your Profile
  • Successfully completed technical degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Solid experience in quality management, including automotive core tools.
  • Certified auditor in 2nd Party IATF, VDA 6.3, and as Quality Management Representative (QMB).
  • Independent and responsible work ethic.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP, Office Suite, MiniTab, and BabTec FMEA module.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
