Our Business

We operate a client-focused flow trading and solutions business, servicing a wide range of institutional investors across the globe. Our flow sales and trading business provides market-making and targeted liquidity to clients, making extensive use of our e-trading platform to build the Mizuho franchise.

About the Role

  • Work closely with senior members of the team in the development of the EMEA franchise;
  • To develop a sustained and profitable franchise primarily in the EMEA region in all core Rates products and develop own portfolio of clients;
  • To leverage the strength of the entire Mizuho organisation into the region to distribute cash and derivatives products in the EMEA region;
  • Create footprint with and produce strong revenues from the allocated client base;
  • Work with Sales Management to identify key clients and arrange respective client visits;
  • Focus on developing priority clients, i.e. Tier 1 and Tier 2 client list;
  • Identify client trends and themes and keep Management and peers abreast of changing landscapes;
  • Maintain a balance between high margin and flow products in order to develop a balanced revenue stream.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in selling rates products to institutional investors
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
  • Fluency in English is a must, in Italian preferably,
  • Client focussed, analytical and results driven,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Relevant IT skills
