Director of Engineering Audio Systems

Bosch Sicherheitssysteme GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering Audio Systems to lead our audio engineering departments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to electroacoustic technology and audio electronics across our entire product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new products and technologies in the field of professional audio systems, including speakers, microphones, headsets, amplifiers, and signal processors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative audio solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Manage and direct a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to accelerate new product development and improve market penetration.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure that Bosch maintains a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Physics, with a minimum of 10 years of design experience and 5 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of employing rapid product development techniques to optimize project implementation timelines within budget.
  • Knowledge and successful use of lean principles, manufacturing engineering, and engineering process control methods and techniques.
  • Ability to identify and assign resources toward specific product initiatives.
  • Outstanding team leadership skills and exceptional ability to present and communicate to customers/prospects.
