Position Overview

As a Service Technician IT Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services within our organization. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our IT support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Second Level Support: Provide advanced support by diagnosing and resolving IT issues related to hardware and software.
  • Incident Management: Manage incoming reports through our ticketing system, ensuring proper documentation, categorization, and prioritization of issues.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance of asset and configuration management for IT workstation devices.
  • Software Installation: Responsible for the installation and updates of operating systems on laptops and desktops.
  • User Support: Act as the primary contact for users via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Regional IT Management: Coordinate the rollout and management of IT workstation equipment across various locations.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Management, or equivalent IT training with relevant certifications.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management and the integration of technology into business processes.
  • Proficient in Office software and familiar with IKK standard software and relevant add-ons.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy or ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of service regulations and work instructions is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and independent, structured work habits.
  • Valid Class B driving license.
