About the Director of Information Security Role:
This position entails the development and execution of the information security strategy and program for the financial institution. Responsibilities encompass defining information security policies, managing security measures, and overseeing the management of information security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining and refining information security policies
- Implement group security policies and controls while complying with local regulations
- Coordinate information security processes and supervise IT service providers
- Prepare and revise technology contingency plans
- Serve as a point of contact for information security inquiries
- Investigate information security incidents and document findings
- Provide security support within the CET timezone
Requirements for Director of Information Security Role:
- Proficient communication skills in English and German
- Prior experience in regulated sectors, especially financial services
- Expertise in security operations, monitoring, and threat management
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity threats and controls
- Technical proficiency in hardware, networking, and operating systems
- Ability to articulate complex security issues clearly
- Strong decision-making capabilities
- Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT frameworks
- Willingness to collaborate with global teams
- Eligibility to work within the EU
