We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Director to lead and enhance our cybersecurity efforts within a dynamic startup focused on digital asset exchange.
This leadership position is ideal for an experienced cybersecurity expert eager to take on a pivotal role in a rapidly expanding organization.

Role Overview:
The Cybersecurity Director will be responsible for formulating and executing the information security strategy and program for our financial institution. Key duties include establishing information security policies, managing security measures, and overseeing the information security management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and refine information security policies
- Implement group security measures while ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Coordinate information security processes and supervise IT service providers
- Develop and maintain technology contingency plans
- Serve as a point of contact for information security inquiries
- Investigate security incidents and document findings
- Provide security support within the CET timezone
Qualifications for Cybersecurity Director:
- Proficient communication skills in English and German
- Experience in regulated sectors, particularly in financial services
- Expertise in security operations, monitoring, and threat management
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies
- Technical proficiency in hardware, networking, and operating systems
- Aptitude for articulating complex security issues effectively
- Strong decision-making capabilities
- Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT frameworks
- Willingness to collaborate with global teams
- Eligibility to work within the EU
