SimScale is an innovative engineering simulation platform that is transforming the approach engineers, designers, scientists, and architects take in product design. The platform is entirely web-based, featuring a user-friendly interface that accommodates various simulation types, including Structural Mechanics, Fluid Dynamics, and Thermodynamics.

By leveraging cloud technology for simulation, SimScale removes the barriers associated with conventional simulation tools, such as high installation costs, licensing fees, the need for high-performance computing hardware, and ongoing updates and maintenance. Your Role

As a Strategic Account Manager (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in helping our clients accelerate their development cycles, enhance product quality, and save significant costs. We seek an experienced strategist who can engage engineering leaders and cultivate strong customer relationships. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to the successful closure of software agreements.
  • Utilizing your entrepreneurial mindset to devise creative and effective strategies that meet and surpass your ambitious sales targets.
  • Building a robust network through targeted outreach to engineering and simulation leaders, as well as high-level decision-makers.
  • Collaborating closely with our technical Pre-Sales and Customer Success Teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and develop strategic account plans that foster sustainable growth.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales to engineering organizations, preferably in sectors such as automotive, electronics, or industrial machinery.
  • Experience in strategic account planning and identifying new business opportunities, utilizing frameworks like MEDDIC or SPICED.
  • A solid understanding of complex sales cycles, enabling you to define specific solutions with added value and high scalability potential in collaboration with customers.
  • Strong communication skills, allowing you to engage confidently with C-level executives and lead intricate negotiations aimed at successful sales in the enterprise segment.

Your dedicated Talent Acquisition Manager for this position will guide you through the process. Following an initial conversation, you will have the opportunity to meet with the hiring manager.
