About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Development Manager to join our Corporate Development Team at Statista GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic projects and initiatives that support our company's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and steer diverse strategy projects from conception to operational implementation, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Facilitate effective cooperation between different teams to ensure project success and drive business growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement KPI-based steering logics for organizational development, including the selection and integration of suitable tools and software.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct well-founded market and competition analyses to identify new growth areas and opportunities.
  • Decision Support: Prepare decision papers for senior management based on complex information using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Prepare and realize workshops with senior management and C-level executives to drive strategic discussions and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Experience: Approximately 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in consulting, start-up, or corporate development.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data independently and derive clear conclusions and recommendations.
  • Data Analytics: Basic knowledge of data analytics and the ability to question and optimize analyses with the specialist department.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of strategic challenges and opportunities in an online subscription business model.
  • Steering Logics: Experience in introducing and improving steering logics.
  • Market Trends: Understanding of and interest in market and competitive trends.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent perceptive skills, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team.
