Entry-Level Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Logistics team in Bremerhaven as a Logistics Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customs documentation for key clients. You will be part of a supportive and dynamic team, providing an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge in the customs sector and develop a career in logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit all required documentation and registrations for client cargoes (Import / Export / Transshipment).
  • Ensure accurate, timely data entries across all systems.
  • Stay informed about evolving local procedures and regulations, particularly in relation to the Union Customs Code and Veterinary Authority regulations.
  • Participate in daily operations, including meetings, safety standards, and compliance with documentation and regulations.
  • Engage in refresher training on customs and value-added service topics.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or a diploma in customs-related studies (Bachelor's or Master's degree is not mandatory).
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn about customs and the logistics industry.
  • Familiarity with value-added service products and customs legislation is advantageous.
  • Practical experience in customs clearance processes (ATLAS) is beneficial.
  • Proactive team player with strong organizational skills and a focus on productivity and process excellence.
  • Proficient in both German and English.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-centric approach, dedicated to meeting client expectations and enhancing service quality.
  • Competent in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and adaptable to new software.
  • Collaborative team member, working effectively with others to achieve results.
