Overview:
The American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier Group, Inc. **_Coordinator, Liner & Intermodal Operations _**will be responsible for the preparation and execution of ARC liner cargo operations at European ports. This includes assisting in the planning and execution of ARC vessel port calls and related logistics service requirements.
The initial focus of the role will be focused on base port operations (Southampton, Bremerhaven, and Antwerp), but will expand in geographic territory. The focus will be delivering high quality service to the US DOD and other Flag impelled customers.
The
**_Coordinator, Liner & Intermodal Operations _**will also drive operations execution and process development for liner port call operations and work with regional leadership and commercial team to expand service offerings.
**Job Description**:
In this role you will:
- Prepare import and export shipments (documentation, systems, vendor notifications)
- Prepare and execute over the road transportation orders
- Travel as needed to support requirements (base ports and then later out of network European ports)
- Administrative work in conjunction with port call activities (Estimates, Proforma Disbursement review)
- Affiliate Knowledge: Understand the mission and structure of our parent and affiliate organizations and demonstrates our core values. Leverage the affiliate capability as appropriate.
- Grow overall knowledge on port and logistics knowledge as it pertains to the US DOD.
- Interact and communicate with people across various organizational functions.
- Work with regional leadership on future planning and budgeting.

Technical:
Working knowledge of Logistics Management Systems considered a plus.
