Procurement Quality Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at OSB AG as a Supply Chain Development Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality plans for suppliers, ensuring compliance and evaluation of their adherence.
  • Formulate quality requirements for suppliers by creating guidelines.
  • Oversee the development of strategically important suppliers and ensure their ability to deliver quality and on-time performance.
  • Be responsible for the acceptance of first article inspections.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team on projects such as implementing APQP within the supply chain.
  • Coordinate and monitor the approval activities of the functional departments.
  • Conduct internal and external audits.
  • Identify weaknesses and deviations.
  • Implement corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Be responsible for process optimization and ensuring process security.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of APQP, including its components (FAI, FMEA, etc.).
  • Ideally, have experience in auditing and hold an auditor certification.
  • Have knowledge of aviation regulations, which is an asset.
  • Have an analytical and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Have high initiative and assertiveness.
  • Have high travel readiness.
  • Have good knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Have fluent German and English language skills.
