Job Title: IT Business Solutions Manager - Road Transportation and Contract Logistics

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Solutions Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the IT department, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging technology to enhance road transportation and contract logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and Understand Business Requirements

Develop tailored IT solutions to meet the needs of the business, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives.

Collaborate with Business Leaders

Work closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities for technology-driven growth and process improvement.

Align IT Goals and Strategies

Ensure that IT initiatives are closely tied to business objectives, driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Identify and Implement Technologies

Select and implement technologies that optimize internal processes, improving productivity and reducing costs.

Develop Business Case Justifications

Prepare comprehensive business cases to justify IT investments, ensuring a strong return on investment.

Ensure Secure Development

Oversee the secure development of applications, ensuring compliance with the company's security program.

Provide Vision and Leadership

Lead the development and implementation of digital initiatives, driving business transformation and growth.

Plan and Implement Digital Business Architecture

Design and implement digital business architecture to enhance business processes, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Work with Business Areas

Collaborate with all business areas to leverage digital solutions as strategic value drivers, driving business growth and innovation.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience

A degree or professional training in IT, with a strong emphasis on business and technology architecture.

Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen

Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement IT solutions that drive business growth.

Management and Interpersonal Skills

Outstanding management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Communication and Negotiation Skills

Proactive stakeholder management and effective communication and negotiation abilities, with a strong focus on building relationships and driving results.

Financial Management and Risk Management

Proficiency in financial management and risk management, particularly concerning application risks, with a strong focus on ensuring the secure development of applications.

Travel Requirements
