Data Insights Specialist

Take this opportunity to explore the role of Data Analytics Expert within SYNCREON's Data and Analytics Team. You will be tasked with architecting, developing, and sustaining comprehensive data pipelines and systems while enhancing end-to-end data solutions, particularly focusing on Databricks, machine learning, and data modeling. This position allows for remote work within Germany, with occasional travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Logistics Division and SYNCREON's regional operations to implement transformative initiatives within Group Technology. Engage primarily with Operations Excellence, alongside other departments such as Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, and Procurement as necessary. Support leadership in assessing performance metrics for your Business Unit. Partner closely with the senior IT shared services leadership team (Applications, Governance, Transformation, Backoffice) to ensure synergy and alignment in solutions and services. Work in conjunction with Group Technology Head Office to execute strategic projects. Foster strong relationships with procurement and finance to uphold SYNCREON's policies and procedures. Assist Group Compliance, Group People, and Legal in adhering to SYNCREON's policies and legal obligations within the business region. Maintain open lines of communication with key IT and business leaders to guarantee top-tier IT service delivery.Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Databricks and machine learning. Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Scala (Pyspark preferred). Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries. Comprehensive understanding of data modeling principles and best practices. Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure). Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Databricks Associate Certification is mandatory. Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark). Knowledge and experience in utilizing MS Azure Analytics Services, particularly Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and MS Purview. Familiarity with Power BI is preferred. Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).About SYNCREON
