We are seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to become a key member of SYNCREON's Data and Analytics Division. In this role, you will be tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of efficient data pipelines and systems, while enhancing comprehensive data solutions, particularly focusing on Databricks, machine learning, and data modeling. This position allows for remote work within Germany, though occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Logistics Division and SYNCREON's regional operations to facilitate transformative changes within Group Technology. Engage primarily with Operations Excellence, as well as other departments such as Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, and Procurement as necessary. Assist leadership in monitoring performance metrics for your Business Unit. Work closely with the senior IT shared services leadership team (Applications, Governance, Transformation, Backoffice) to ensure synergy and alignment in solutions and services. Partner with Group Technology Head Office to execute strategic initiatives effectively. Foster strong relationships with procurement and finance to uphold SYNCREON's policies and procedures. Support Group Compliance, Group People, and Legal teams in adhering to SYNCREON's policies and legal obligations within the business region. Maintain open lines of communication with key IT and business leaders to guarantee superior IT service delivery.Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer, particularly with Databricks and machine learning. Strong command of programming languages such as Python or Scala (Pyspark preferred). Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries. Comprehensive understanding of data modeling principles and best practices. Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure). Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Databricks Associate Certification is required. Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark). Knowledge of MS Azure Analytics Services, particularly Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and MS Purview. Familiarity with Power BI is preferred. Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).About SYNCREON
