Position Overview: The Field Quality Lead is responsible for overseeing field issue prevention and managing the execution of field actions for specific modules. This role involves identifying potential issues, supporting root cause analysis, and coordinating corrective actions. Collaboration with various stakeholders is essential to streamline problem-solving processes and ensure effective campaign execution. Success in this role is measured by timely resolution, effective delivery, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in strategic projects related to problem prevention and campaign execution for designated modules.
- Establish and align collaboration frameworks with partners in Engineering, Operations, SQE, SCM, Aftersales, and other departments.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying potential issues, supporting root cause analysis, and coordinating corrective actions.
- Supervise recall specialists in addressing non-conformities related to safety, emissions, and compliance for INEOS Automotive products and services.
- Ensure continuous improvement within the responsible area and oversee related processes.
- Track and report KPIs for respective modules, escalating issues through quality committees as necessary.
- Provide expert assessments to management regarding critical safety-related issues.
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams based on module structures.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience in Quality Management within the Automotive Industry, particularly in field quality.
- Proven experience in resolving field issues and implementing failure elimination processes.
- Familiarity with complex problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, DOE, 8D).
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and motivational abilities, with adaptability to diverse situations.
- High organizational skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Pragmatic approach with a solid understanding of lean principles.
- Proficient in English.
- Competent in MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
