Cost Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer to join our team at INEOS. As a key member of our Field Quality team, you will be responsible for leading the cost recovery process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving cost efficiency initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost control processes and best practices to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Plant Quality, and other teams to gather and consolidate costs related to field measures.
- Lead and guide teams in collecting and documenting evidence on costs, and provide financial analysis and insights to drive cost efficiency.
- Initiate charge backs from suppliers and ESPs aligned with Purchasing and Finance.
- Define and implement strategies for easy cost collection, including process improvements and IT system enhancements.
- Collect and analyze cost data, generate detailed reports, and track expenditures against budget.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in economics, accounting, finance, or similar studies.
- 5-7 years of experience in cost management and cost recovery processes, including negotiations with 3rd parties.
- Strong understanding of field actions, recalls, and associated cost management.
- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
