Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation and management of payroll for both headquarters and operations, providing personnel data and evaluations for management, and supporting social security and income tax audits.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Management: Create and manage payroll for both headquarters and operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
- Personnel Data and Evaluations: Provide personnel data and evaluations for management, supporting informed decision-making.
- Compliance and Audits: Support social security and income tax audits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Payroll Projects: Implement and manage payroll-related projects, optimizing processes and tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously optimize payroll processes and tools through direct communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Special Cases: Clarify and process issues relating to maternity protection, parental leave, garnishments, and company pension schemes.
- Education: Degree in accounting, payroll, or HR.
- Experience: More than 3 years of professional experience in payroll accounting, preferably in a fast-growing company.
- Knowledge: Profound knowledge of labor, tax, and social security law.
- Skills: Independent way of working, reliability, sense of responsibility, and high focus on service.
- Language: Native-level written and spoken German knowledge, good written and spoken English knowledge.
- Annual L&D Budget: €1000 annual budget for learning and development.
