Role Overview

ISS STOXX is in search of a Senior Account Executive to enhance our sales initiatives throughout the DACH region, focusing on our suite of Responsible Investment Solutions, which encompasses Climate Data, Ratings & Rankings, Controversies, Impact & SDGs, and Regulatory Solutions.

To excel in this position, candidates must possess a proven history of sales within financial institutions and a genuine passion for Sustainable and Responsible investments, particularly in the realm of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) research and issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed revenue and renewal objectives by identifying and securing ESG sales opportunities and upselling to current clients.
  • Enhance ISS' ESG market presence, reputation, and visibility within the investment management and asset owner sectors.
  • Regularly evaluate ESG market prospects, formulate and refine a sales strategy for the designated territory, and engage in discussions with management.
  • Provide comprehensive sales and renewal reporting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with ISS Business Development Representatives and Marketing teams to define product offerings, services, and marketing strategies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with existing clients and potential prospects.
  • Document all client interactions and meeting details in the firm's CRM system.
  • Share pertinent industry insights and opportunities across the sales team and with other departments.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in institutional sales and relationship management, with a focus on achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record in relationship management, business development, and revenue generation, whether through direct sales or strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated skills in relationship and project management, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with sound judgment to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Unwavering personal and professional integrity.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
