About the Role

As a Strategic Account Manager at SimScale GmbH, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with engineering leaders. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to successful deal closure. You will develop creative and effective strategies to meet and exceed ambitious sales goals, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit and expertise in selling software to engineering organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and closure
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering leaders and decision-makers
  • Collaborate with the Pre-Sales and Customer Success Teams to create outstanding customer experiences
  • Develop strategic account mapping to achieve sustainable growth in key accounts
Requirements
  • Fluency in German and English
  • At least 5+ years of experience in selling software to engineering organizations
  • Experience in strategic account planning and identifying new business opportunities
  • Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and ability to define specific solutions with added value
  • Confident communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead complex sales discussions with C-level executives
