Data Protection Manager

Position Overview:
As a key liaison for assigned business units, you will address legal inquiries related to data protection and provide independent counsel on practical solutions, particularly during the implementation of new tools, systems, processes, and data-driven business models. Your role will also involve assisting in the documentation of these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and document data protection inquiries.
- Design and review contracts relevant to data protection.
- Conduct data protection audits to ensure compliance.
- Support the Head of Data Protection in enhancing the data protection management system, collaborating with various functional areas.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops on diverse data protection topics.

Qualifications:
- A completed degree in law, business law, business informatics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on data protection.
- Several years of professional experience in data protection is essential, along with certifications as a Data Protection Officer or other relevant data protection certifications (e.g., GDD, CIPP/E) being advantageous.
- A solid understanding of IT-related contexts and the ability to communicate complex information clearly, alongside proficient skills in MS Office.
- A strong interest in digitalization and the associated legal challenges.
- Fluent in German and possess excellent English language skills.
