Data Protection Manager (m/f/d)
In this pivotal role, you will champion and advance internal projects and data protection initiatives with your expertise. You will serve as the primary contact for data protection matters within designated business areas, playing a crucial role in the formulation and adherence to our data protection standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for designated business areas regarding data protection matters, providing independent guidance on practical solutions, particularly during the implementation of new tools, systems, processes, and data-driven business models, while also supporting their documentation.
- Develop and maintain binding data protection standards for the HARTMANN GROUP.
- Independently manage and document data protection inquiries, design and review data protection-related contracts, and conduct audits pertaining to data protection.
- Assist the Head of Data Protection in enhancing the data protection management system of the HARTMANN GROUP, incorporating interface functions.
- Design and facilitate training sessions and workshops on various data protection topics independently.
- Identify, evaluate, and communicate current data protection risks in collaboration with data protection coordinators within the HARTMANN GROUP.
Qualifications:
- A completed degree in law, business law, business informatics, or a related field with relevant references to data protection.
- Several years of professional experience in data protection is essential, with certifications as a data protection officer or other related certifications (e.g., GDD, CIPP/E) being advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of data protection law, particularly GDPR and BDSG, along with other pertinent data protection regulations and audit execution.
- Comprehension of IT technical relationships and the ability to present them clearly, along with proficient skills in MS Office.
- A strong interest in digitalization and related legal matters, with a high willingness and capability to familiarize oneself with new legal areas and issues.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and structured working methods, complemented by a confident demeanor, diplomatic skills, and assertive presentation of solutions.
- Fluency in German and very good English proficiency.
