We are looking for a passionate Sustainability Success Manager to play an elementary role in helping us transform every company into a sustainable business, with critical responsibility and influence on our product and overall venture development.

In this integral position, you will engage directly with our customers, supporting them at every step of their climate journey. You will jointly determine data requirements, set climate objectives, plan carbon reduction initiatives, and beyond, to empower our customers in realizing substantial carbon reductions across their value chain.

Tasks

Who you are:

  • You enjoy managing multiple customers, supporting them in their needs, managing their expectations and meeting deadlines, whilst keeping an eye on invested time. Your goal is to give them a positive experience throughout their decarbonization journey, even during challenging times.
  • Your strong communication skills enable you to explain complex topics clearly, give guidance on the process and organize meetings that cater to various stakeholders (e.g. C-level, sustainability department, and internal team members.)
  • You have a deep interest in the latest carbon accounting standards (CCF & PCF) and business compliance (e.g. GHG Protocol, GLEC) and EU regulatory frameworks (CSRD, SFRD, EU Taxonomy, etc.)
  • Most of all, you care deeply about climate action and love contributing your skills to create real impact.

What you will do:

  • Customer Success Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting relationships with enterprise clients, supporting them as their main point of contact for any advice, enquiries and solving their unique needs and challenges.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new customers, educating them about the platform and sustainability requirements & guaranteeing a seamless and positive experience
  • Proactively gather customer feedback and collaborate with our product and sales teams to address customer requirements and enhance the value of our solutions
  • Use your understanding of CLTV to drive customer value
  • Climate Management
  • Utilize your deep understanding of carbon accounting standards and business compliance to guide customers in optimizing their use of the Cozero software
  • Advise on customer data collection and analysis, supporting them to achieve complete, accurate and transparent carbon accounting
  • Project Management:
  • Support our customers implementing carbon accounting and decarbonization using the Cozero software, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to address customer needs and enhance product functionality based on customer feedback
  • Co-lead projects that support the evolution of the Customer Success organization
  • Communication:
  • Explain complex topics and processes clearly to customers, ranging from C-level executive to sustainability department members
  • Provide an expert voice to our customers, and develop knowledge sharing climate accounting and management education resources.
Requirements

What we’re looking for - Requirements:

  • Customer Success Management, Key Account Management or Management Consultancy experience
  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS startup working with enterprise level clients, bonus if you have worked with companies in logistics, FMCG or manufacturing domains
  • Substantial experience calculating, interpreting, and advising on corporate carbon footprints, target settings and reduction measures
  • Experience in developing net zero strategies & climate transition plans, including SBT setting, and the planning of reduction scenarios and actions preferred
  • Other requirements:
  • You have a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Sustainable Management, Climate Science, Environmental Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • You are fluent in German and English
