As the Head of CommEx DACH & Region Process Owner (M/F/d) you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives across the DACH region, ensuring alignment with Alcon's priorities and CommEx function strategy. You will lead a dedicated team, drive innovation, and implement solutions to address business needs, while continuously optimizing processes and fostering a collaborative environment across functions and regions. You will be based in Freiburg and will support both the Vision Care & Surgical Franchises within that market.

In this role, a typical day will include:

- Act as a strategic advisor to franchise leadership, providing proactive insights and recommendations for commercial strategies and field force productivity based on CommEx data
- Collaborate extensively with global CommEx teams, franchise heads, regional leaders, and functional counterparts to maintain cohesive daily operations
- Lead, empower, and motivate the cluster/country CommEx team to cultivate a high-performance environment and achieve strategic goals effectively
- Manage all core CommEx processes at the cluster/country level, including account profiling, segmentation, territory design, quota management, and major campaigns
- Conduct quarterly reviews on incentives governance and drive effective adoption of new CommEx tools through comprehensive training and onboarding
- Drive standardization of CommEx processes across international frameworks, emphasizing simplification and optimization to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

- Degree (Masters preferred) in science, business, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Fluency in English and German
- 7+ years of experience in medical devices, sales, marketing, or commercial excellence
- Demonstrated business partnering skills, coupled with strong analytical abilities to convert data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong people management skills with experience in leading reporting teams and collaborating effectively across functional teams
- Proven capability in process management, localization strategies, and adeptness in change management to drive organizational effectiveness and efficiency
