The Department of Optical Nanoscopy (Prof. Dr. Stefan W. Hell) is looking for a student assistant in Physical Chemistry to support the development of new fluorophores for super-resolution microscopy.

YOUR TASKS
- spectroscopic characterization of fluorophores
- preparation of samples for fluorescence imaging
- carry out fluorescence imaging experiments on various microscopy setups

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor or Master student in Chemistry
- knowledge in the field of physical chemistry
- preferably experience with Origin, MATLAB and/or ImageJ
- preferably experience in fluorescence imaging and/or image analysis
- cooperative and transparent way of working in different teams
- clear and open communication skills
- good knowledge of written and spoken English
