**As Specialist Global Customs & Regulations your work will focus on these responsibilities**:
- Ensure compliance with all international customs regulations and requirements and develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on trade compliance matters and expert advice and support to business units on customs, trade compliance, and export control matters.
- Oversee export control processes to ensure compliance with international export control laws.
- Communicate with customs authorities and brokers to resolve any issues or discrepancies and manage customs documentation and procedures for import and export activities.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to trade compliance regulations.
- Classify products and technologies according to export control regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in logistics, transportations, operations, customs, trade compliance, and export control operations.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to customs, trade compliance, and export control and stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and extern
**To be successful in this role we expect you to have**:
- Min. 5 years of practical experience in customs and setting up international customs processes
- Knowledge in international trade compliance
- Risk awareness and management
- Knowledge of master data in the respected areas seen as an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
- In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 20%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.**Why you and us?**
