We are Klima.Metrix - a climate tech start-up located in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Our aspiration is to become a globally leading software provider for carbon footprint calculation. We focus on accurate and scalable methods meeting the highest carbon accounting and reporting standards.

We focus on high-emission industries and help mid-market and enterprise businesses to handle the complexity of emission calculation and reporting. We do this as we believe that bringing transparency to the most emission-heavy organisations sets the base to create real impact.

With our unique approach of combining our sophisticated software studio with customer focused consulting we have already build a substantial amount of customers - many of which are national, European or global market leaders in their industry.

As we are growing and want to further build and professionalise our Go-to-market unit we are now seeking an experienced "Head of Sales". This is a new role overseeing Klima.Metrix entire sales activites, directly reporting to the CEO.

Tasks

The Head of Sales has the primary role of leading the sales department, overseeing activities of the team and monitoring sales performance as a whole. The following responsibilities and tasks describe the role:

- Implementation of sales strategies and successful execution to drive revenue generation
- Definition of core target customers and overall go-to-market roadmap (including marketing and pre-sales activities)
- Implementation of sales action plans that incorporate key actions and KPIs, including Detailed analyses and regular reporting of sales performance
- Managing and building key relationships with external partners, including end-to-end responsibility for the concept, negotiation and deal closing
- Professionalisation of customer relationship management process and system landscape
- Monitoring and observing the market to derive forecasts and identify new trends
- Close alignment with the Product unit and Consulting unit (consulting) to provide impulses for improvements and innovation

**Requirements**:

- bachelor or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or Sustainibilty - and equivalent in working experience is also acceptable
- at least 3 years of working experience in a senior sales position within a fast-paced and

dynamic business environment - ideally in a start-up and /or in B2B enterprise SaaS models
- profound understanding of sustainability matters, carbon accounting
- proven and successful ability to lead a group of sales personnel towards growth in

enhanced sales volumes and enhanced revenue generation
- good leadership and communication skills and high degree of confidence
- practical knowledge of negotiation principles and tactics and understanding of contract drafting and closing
- experience in drafting reports and making presentations to consumers, senior sales management, stakeholders, or external partners.
- experience in building and scaling a CRM system
- self-motivativation, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, working comfortably and effortlessly in group settings
- persuasive and charismatic personality, working well under the pressure of stringent deadlines
- experience evaluating product/market situations and analyzing raw data and information,

transforming it into actionable sales strategies and approaches.
- Fluent language skills in German and English
