- As a Red Coat,you will be central in demonstrating Deltas commitment to our customers by making their travel experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. At Delta, our brand is critical to our continued success. As a Red Coat, you play a key part in keeping our brand strong by demonstrating strict adherence to uniform compliance, maintaining professionalism, and exhibiting a positive attitude inside and outside of work. Red Coats are the first to greet our customers to guide and assist them with the ticketing, routing, trip planning, baggage check-in process and gate boarding._
- _ Greet customers to guide and assist them in the lobby with the check_
- _ Use a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets._
- _ Manage the check-in process, assist and support Business Partners agent in their_assigned roles._
- _ Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures._
- _ Display positive attitude inside and outside of work._
- _ Must have strong listening and communication skills in order to identify customer needs_and to provide directions appropriately_
- _ Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles._
- _ A Complaint Resolution Official (CRO) is to assist customers in any situation related to_discrimination, accommodations, or services with respect to customers with disabilities._
- _ Engage with customers and create Moments that Delight._
- _ Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures._
- _ Use computers to assist customers with seat availability, make gate announcements_regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and initiating the boarding process._
- _ Manage the Gate and boarding processes, assist and support Business Partners agent in_their assigned roles._
- _ Positively impacts customers use of airport technology to ensure a better, faster and_friendlier airport experience_
- _ Efficiently coordinates and monitors all aspects of the operation, ensuring irregular_operations are handled as quickly and effectively as possible. _

**_What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)_**:

- _
- _Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority_
- _ Demonstrate that privacy is a priority when handling personal data_
- _ Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles_
- _ High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency_
- _ Must be at least 18 years of age_
- _ Must be proficient in English and German_
- _ Should be able to read, write, and comprehend detailed job instructions_
- _ Must have strong listening and communication skills in order to identify customer needs and to provide directions appropriately_
- _ Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation_
- _ Must have a working knowledge of Delta policies and procedures_
- _ Must be able to balance multiple priorities within established time constraints._
- _ (If transferring internally) Must be performing satisfactorily in present position._

- _Knowledge of Deltamatic and other relevant airport technology is strongly preferred._
- _ 6 months of ACS, Airport Customer Service experience in operations and customer service is preferred._
