Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
- Maintain fixed asset accounting
- Treasury management - managing short term cash flow forecasting and ensuring consistency with the long-term plan
- Monthly & quarterly GL account reconciliations
- Manage Intercompany transactions & reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly VAT declarations
- assisting with the preparation of the year-end financial accounts and audit in accordance with local GAAP
- support preparation of tax declarations
- support contract management & leasing obligations as well as banking

Education and Qualifications
- At least 4 years of work experience as Accountant
- Expert knowledge of local reporting standards (Germany/ Austria), accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software's like Exact
- Advanced MS Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in German and excellent English speaking
- experience working in an international environment
- Proven hands-on approach, pro-active in nature and happy to take ownership of issues and resolves
- High level of ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Salary**: From 65,000.00€ per year
