**Your challenge**:
As an Engineer in the Platform team, you’ll have a direct impact on delivering high fidelity, reliable internal products. You’ll be involved in creating testing strategies, discovering the most efficient ways of testing our systems and supporting our product teams in fast delivery through creating tools, automation and CI. You will also be expected to coach our Engineers on Quality best practices, spread and advocate to Quality culture across the company’s cross teams.

**Your responsibilities and decisions**:

- Lead and contribute to the development of our product’s backend written in Golang, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Mentor and support your team, fostering an environment of growth and technical excellence.
- Drive the architecture and technology decisions for the platform, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Tax Experts, and other stakeholders to deliver new features and services.
- Oversee critical technical projects and manage the balance between leadership and hands-on coding.
- Embrace and advocate for agile methodologies, improving processes within a continuous delivery model.
- Spreading the functionality of our platform & collaborating with our internal clients.
- Continuously improving as a team our already strong team culture that cultivates a collaborative, transparent and inclusive work environment.

**Your profile**:

- Minimum 5 years of software development experience, with a strong background in Golang, C++ or Java, additionally having experience in JavaScript/Typescript is a big plus.
- 2 or more years of leadership experience in a team lead role.
- Proven track record in building scalable, high-quality software and complex backend services.
- An advocate for clean, maintainable code and someone who has promoted good engineering practices within a team.
- Familiar with agile methodologies and a proponent of iterative software development.
- Familiar with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including building and managing deployment pipelines.
- A positive, proactive team player who can lead projects and collaborate effectively across various teams.
- A willingness to be hands-on in coding while also stepping back to lead and direct strategic initiatives.
