**Purpose of the role**
As Sales Director Germany you are responsible to launch an established business proposition in Germany, to acquire customers and to help them grow on marketplaces such as Amazon. You inspire your colleagues with your knowledge and insights about marketplaces, mainly Amazon and Zalando.
You are part of the international team and responsible for starting up this established business in a new territory. You will be able to use the office in Berlin and launch the marketplace proposition into the German market.
The business has successfully scaled internationally among others into the Nordics, UK and Spain using an established brandname.
In this role you will have the support and colleagues from project and inside sales as well as digital teams in Berlin and know-how on marketplaces from teams in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, London and Madrid.
This is a unique opportunity to pioneer and launch an established and proven successful business with the support of the local and international teams and to hire your own team when growing. The goal is to acquire and to grow your own clients, scale the business, hire additional employees and overall to grow into a well established and strong business across the DACH region.
The Sales Director role has an aggressive commission scheme combined with a healthy base compensation and the possibility to grow into senior leadership positions within the company.
**Responsibilities**
Launch proposition in Germany (DACH)
Establish and solidify market presence
Acquire customers; directly and indirectly via the existing network
Built partnerships with tech partners that can help us grow the business
Final responsibility for achieving the KPI's within the (vendor and seller) accounts of the
customers in Germany / DACH region
Proactively identifying opportunities within your (vendor and seller) accounts in the area of
content and advertising
Other job requirements
Master degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years' experience with Amazon, in the field of content and advertising
Preferably experience with Zalando and Tradebyte
You have good communication skills and are not afraid to communicate proactively with
clients
Strong business development skills
Result oriented
You are fluent in German and English
