Bolt is looking for an experienced UX Researcher to lead our research efforts in the Rider experience domain.

Every day, tens of millions of people across the world use Bolt's ride-hailing service to move around. You will become the go-to-person for any user research into the experience riders have and serve the research needs of Product Managers and Product Designers in this area. You'll define and prioritize their research needs, conduct qualitative and quantitative research (in-person and remote) independently and deliver impactful insights that help the teams meet their product and business goals.

We offer a range of mobility services including ride-hailing, shared cars and scooters, and food and grocery delivery.

**Your daily adventures will include**:

- Identify key stakeholders in the area, their product priorities and business goals; help them define and prioritize their research needs and translate them into a research strategy that is tightly aligned with product and company goals.
- Identify the best research approach to meet your teams' needs and autonomously carry out research from tactical to strategic, remote and in-person, using a wide range of research methods, e.g. remote interviews, field research, ad-hoc surveys, unmoderated research, customer journey mapping, etc.
- Deliver actionable insights in impactful and creative ways (e.g. reports, journey maps, video storytelling, personas, workshops, etc.) to inform and inspire product and design decisions.
- Work closely with the Designers, Product Managers, Analysts and Customer Support in your area to make sure the right things get built the right way; initiate and build strong relationships with them and nurture them continuously.
- Become the expert for the user experience in your product domain; know the current E2E experience and customer journeys inside-out with all the pain points and unmet needs.
- Educate and advocate for UX research and develop your teams' understanding of the value research can provide to their work and when and how to best work with you.
- Contribute to the growth and skill development of more junior research members of the team.

**We are looking for**:

- Someone passionate about improving mobility in urban areas.
- 3-5 years of experience of advocating for and delivering UX Research in different commercial environments
- 1-2 years experience of owning research, i.e. being responsible for initiating, planning and delivering research, from start to finish
- Seasoned UX practitioner with a strong portfolio in a wide range of qual and quant methods in exploratory, generative and evaluative research, involving remote and in-person data collection, all of which you can deliver autonomously and to high quality standards
- Strong relationship builder who is able to seek out, build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders across the product domain and in adjacent areas
- Self-sufficient research professional who loves to be in the driver's seat and to work independently
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- You thrive in an agile, ever-changing, and demanding environment that requires multi-tasking
- Team player who actively seeks opportunities to work collaboratively with colleagues in their product domain and who shares their research superpowers freely with their fellow researchers
