As the first-dedicated User Experience Researcher (UXR) for the Design organization, you will be the liaison on user insights in customer teams, customer success, sales, product management, engineering and the design team. You'll shape, run, and manage user experience research, user-tests and focus groups, and establish the standard for using user research to build a consistent and engaging product platform experience.

This is a key role in developing and integrating the discipline of UX research into product quality, vision and strategy with the actions following it. You can have a significant personal impact on the usability and desirability of the products we're building, as well as their impact on users within our customer teams and our business. As a very people-centric company, we want you to be the person who loves being the user experience research and service design champion. As a hands-on expert in all aspects of applied user experience research, service design, usability-testing, shaping company-wide user-experience KPIs to make the Smartly.io user experience be usable and desirable.

- Chance to work closely on user research with our customers and co-develop experiences in close collaboration with the leading advertising platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat etc.

**Here's what you'll do...**:

- You will work closely with the design leadership team where you will be shaping the product vision, quality and participating in strategic and operational product decision-making that affects the overall user experience.
- You will mentor product designers during discovery, ideation and after releases on all aspects of usability, desirability and continuous improvement helping them overcome challenges, and keeping them aware and aligned with the end to end customer journey. Don’t worry if this feels daunting - you will be growing rapidly and be supported by the design leadership team to ensure your success. We have your User Experience Research back :)
- You will work across departments with design leadership and teams from product management, engineering, customer success and product marketing to improve our processes, focusing on how user research transforms design intent into design decisions.

- **Adtech, social media and technology.** You can show an understanding of the social media, ad-tech and technological context of Smartly.io services. You can help colleagues understand how social media technology is changing user behavior in B2B markets.
- **Strategic insight.** You can understand Smartly leadership organizational strategy and objectives. You can align user research activities with objectives to create strategic insights that inform product roadmap and proposition with first focus on key UX metrics.
- **Technical understanding** **(user-centered design).** You can demonstrate knowledge of the technologies used to build and operate digital services. You can understand the different technical roles in a multidisciplinary team.
- **User-centered and Agile practices. **You can understand user-centered design practices and how to embed them into an agile workflow to produce timely findings. You can work in an open, iterative and collaborative way in a multidisciplinary team.
