Finance & Strategy Intern - Lunar X

**Your role**:
As an intern in the Finance Department you will be involved in various financial tasks, including but not limited to budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting. As a student or recent graduate this will be an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance when you are tackling topics of high strategic impact together with a team of motivated and experienced individuals.

**Key responsibilities**:
Financial Analysis
- Assist in creating and updating financial models and forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis to compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

Accounting Support
- Help in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with month-end financial reports.

Data Management
- Maintain financial databases, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Analyse data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.

Budgeting Support
- Contribute to the preparation of departmental budgets.
- Track expenses against budget and flag any discrepancies.

Administrative Tasks
- Support the Finance team in daily administrative tasks as needed.
- Attend team meetings and take notes.

**What you add to our crew**:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
