- STMicroelectronics is a leading player in the Automotive Power Distribution & Body market. Our VIPower family of smart power switches enable OEMs and Tier1s to replace relays and fuses with semiconductor solutions to supply power from the battery to all the systems and loads distributed across the vehicle architecture. Our portfolio is expanding strongly to address the new automotive architecture changes moving towards zonal control modules, ensuring an optimized wire harness design with increased efficiency, reliability and advanced diagnostics.

As a Technical Marketing Engineer in the EMEA region your mission is to support the technical design-in activity to ensure the execution of the strategy together with the Technical Market and Application Engineering team, our Sales force and the Product Group Business Unit. You will be a key actor in positioning STMicroeletronics’ VIPower portfolio and contributing to the product roadmap and solutions for power distribution in classic and smart architectures. You will be a key technical contact, influence strategic and operational decisions in order to reinforce ST’s leadership towards electrified and autonomous vehicles. You will be present and travelling to our main customers in the region EMEA.

The main objectives & tasks will be to:

- Support customers in EMEA as a primary technical contact in the design-in activity to offer the most competitive solution.
- Recommend suitable ST products based on customer RFIs / RFQs and requirements.
- Manage the first level of Functional Safety (ISO-26262) discussions with customers.
- Train Sales and FAEs as well as external partners to ensure competencies are in place to properly position VIPower across markets.
- Gather market intelligence and monitor competition to anticipate market trends, elaborate unique selling propositions and collaborate on differentiation strategies.

**Profile**:

- Master Degree in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics discipline or Physics in Solid-State discipline or related field.
- Strong analytical thought and problem-solving knowledge in own and other functional areas.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work with global and diverse teams, willingness to pro-actively support and engage customers and external partners.
