**Your Tasks**:
- First point of contact for all internal and external employees, partners and customers to deal with all kind of questions regarding accounting - and manage feedback from our internal accounting experts
- Clarification of ad hoc inquiries of all kinds such as: balance confirmation inquiries, account reconciliation, business information, statistical offices, etc.
- Processing of (external) correspondence
- Maintenance and creation of master data in SAP
- General team support with daily tasks as well as with the monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements
- Setting up payment proposals based on templates
- Creation of legal reports (Intrastat, ZM, Bundesbank)
- Assistance with advance VAT returns and assistance with the annual VAT return
- Coordination with the service provider with regard to their availability
- Support of cross-departmental processes and projects
**Your Profile**:
- You have a degree in economics (accounting/controlling) or financial accountant or comparable qualification (IHK or Steuerfachschule Endriss (f/m)
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in accounting and a comparable position; leadership experience is desirable
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English, very good German
- Very independent way of working
- Solid user knowledge of MS Office programs, in particular Excel and SAP / FI
- Professional knowledge of the HGB, ideally IFRS
- High degree of flexibility for ad hoc requests
