The purpose of this role is to lead the assessment of Alstom bids in DACH and manage the delivery of all required IS content on time and in quality. The IS cost are integral part of the total bid cost and consequently drive competitiveness of the offering. You will lead the analysis and leverage the potential for more business value and innovation through advanced IT offerings in bids.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead the overall IS&T DACH Bid management process to ensure required IT solution & cost input to all bids on time and in quality
- Develop and establish a “catalogue of standard building blocks” of recurring IS offerings for bids
- Lead the identification of new business opportunities and leverage potential by new digital offerings
- Define and establish the process to ensure all bids are covered with necessary IS involvement in an efficient way
- Lead the IS&T internal evaluation of the bid content and drive the creation of input from all relevant IS&T functions, incl. Architecture, Cyber Security and IS&T Finance
- Develop standard IS&T bid input form
- Establish and maintain Tracking Tool for IS&T DACH bid input for all relevant bids
- Establish reporting, monitor progress and establish regular (bi-weekly) progress meeting
- Setup and lead monthly reviews to ensure all DACH IS&T BPs are informed monthly about status of the bids in their respective country

Key requirements:

- Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering University degree or equivalent
- Strong experience in leadership positions
- Solid understanding of Finance (cost controlling, business case calculation, earned value analysis, etc.)
- Experienced in working with C-Level, VP or director levels
- Industry specific business acumen with general understanding of markets, value chains, customers and railway technologies
- Good general understanding of IT technologies, e.g. networks, servers, SAP, Maximo, data warehouse, data analytics
- Very good business acumen with a strong drive to improve, innovate, shape & change
- Fluent in English and German (French is an advantage)
