**Join Our Team as Director, Operational Risk**

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the technology control framework of our bank? We're seeking a proactive and knowledgeable individual to join us as a Director, Operational Risk. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in defining and implementing technology control frameworks and policies in alignment with regulatory requirements

**Responsibilities**:

- Holding the ICT-Risk-Control function as defined in DORA and driving the implementation from a second line perspective
- Develop, implement, and embed Technology risk in the enterprise risk management framework.
- Collaborate with other risk framework owners and 1st line of defense to deliver risk assessments and management tools.
- Monitor and report on Technology incidents, issues, and risk trends.
- Assess and challenge impacts of new Technology initiatives on the bank's strategic aims and risk profile.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including audit and regulatory bodies.
- Proactively engage with risk teams to holistically manage Technology Risk.
- Support the review and development of the bank's information risk management framework.
- Participate in relevant projects within the Technology area.
- Evaluate existing controls, recommend new requirements, and enhance policies and standards.
- Continuously improve operational efficiencies of risk management processes/framework.
- Direct response to material events and ensure effective implementation of risk frameworks.
- Provide guidance to the 1st Line of Defense and intervene when necessary.
- Monitor and report on Technology-related proposals and risk-management activities.
- Set up, review, and maintain related Policies and Standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Extensive experience in the banking/financial industry, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as MaRisk and BAIT.
- Proficiency in operational and technology risk management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in German is preferred but not mandatory.
