**Job Summary**

Join the 2nd Line of Defense (2LoD) team to oversee cloud controls and cloud governance practices of J.P. Morgan SE (JPMSE), one of Europe's largest banks. You will be engaging with stakeholders on the implementation cloud control frameworks or challenge 1st Line of Defence on the state of the risk environment. You will also assess third party risks as applied to technology, as you build out your position as expert in cloud security.

As Technology & Cybersecurity Operational Risk Cloud Expert in the Technology & Cybersecurity Operational Risk ("Tech & Cyber ORM") team, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and execution of the 2LoD Tech & Cyber framework within JPMSE and its branches.

You will provide 2LoD challenge and oversight to the business, technology and cybersecurity partners on resiliency risk. You will also have a critical role in key initiatives, oversight of programs and regulatory dialogue. As part of the EMEA 2LoD team and the global firm you will have the ability to broaden this platform to work on legal entity, regional and global initiatives, in addition to being part of local and firmwide community, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
The position reports to the Lead of Technology and Cybersecurity Operational Risk and represents an excellent opportunity for you to:

- Drive the development of the operational risk management practice in a fast-paced and growing business environment
- Work closely with the business teams and stakeholders to evaluate risk and controls
- Partner with the local and global teams across Technology, Cybersecurity and the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization and business lines.
- Challenge & Oversight - providing challenge and oversight of cyber & technology risks, working with the 1st line teams, root cause analysis on internal Tech operational risk events and those that occur externally in the industry.
- Continuous Testing & Monitoring - Perform oversight of risks through participation in governance forums, Control Committees, senior level work streams, major change management programs, point-in-time issue escalation, industry and regulatory meetings, internal strategic efforts and reviewing internal operational risk events.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- 5+ years' relevant experience in cloud technology and operational risk oversight with experience within the financial services industry.
- Proven ability to understand complex technical systems and the business processes they support and synthesize the corresponding risks and controls and recommend adjustments if required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Security or related field; post-graduate degree a plus
- Fluency in German and English is essential, proficiency in other European languages is also helpful
- Adept at developing relationships with strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to take ideas forward and to challenge others, where appropriate
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results with a high level of professionalism, self-motivation, and integrity

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Experience in technology operational risk oversight within the financial services industry highly desired and experience in retail banking and PCI-DSS compliance are beneficial.
- Experience in and understanding of modern development practices and supporting toolsets (e.g. Agile, DevSecOps) as well as public cloud security principles and practices highly desired
- Understanding of technology & cybersecurity risk management and control frameworks with a proven ability to anticipate and identify risks and effective mitigating actions
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCAK, CISM, AWS, Azure, GCP are beneficial
