**Job Summary**

Join the 2nd Line of Defense (2LoD) team to oversee the business resiliency framework and risk management practices of J.P. Morgan SE (JPMSE), one of Europe's largest banks as well as the J.P. Morgan Chase EMEA Corporate and Investment Bank business. You will be engaging on the implementation of the Firmwide Operational Resilience Frameworks or challenge 1st Line of Defence on the state of the Resiliency Risk. You will also assess third party risks as applied to technology, as you become an expert in resiliency risk.

As Resiliency Risk Lead and Vice President in the Technology & Cybersecurity Operational Risk ("Tech & Cyber ORM") team, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and execution of the 2LoD Tech & Cyber framework within JPMSE and its branches. You will provide 2LoD challenge and oversight to the business, technology and cybersecurity partners on resiliency risk. You will also have a critical role in key initiatives, oversight of programs and regulatory dialogue. As part of the EMEA 2LoD team and the global firm you will have the ability to broaden this platform to work on legal entity, regional and global initiatives, in addition to being part of local and firmwide community, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
The position reports to the 2LoD Tech & Cyber EMEA Outsourcing and Resiliency Risk Lead and the JPMSE Tech & Cyber ORM Lead. It represents an excellent opportunity for you to:

- Partner with the local, EMEA and global teams across 2LoD/ Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization and line of business operational risk managers to evaluate Resiliency risk.
- Provide ongoing guidance to the stakeholders on how to meet regulatory obligations and expectations as well as assess the impact of existing and proposed Resiliency regulations.
- Work closely with the business teams and stakeholders to evaluate risks and controls associated with Resilience Risk, engaging with the implementation of the Firmwide Operational Resilience Frameworks across EMEA.
- Provide internal challenge of 1st LOD viewpoint of the state of the Resiliency Risk to the JPMSE Board in partnership with EMEA Resiliency risk.
- Oversee the implementation of the Firmwide Resiliency Frameworks at JPMSE in compliance with European Regulation, understand third party risks as applied to technology and be an expert in resiliency risk for the JPMSE locations.
- Challenge & Oversight - providing challenge and oversight of resilience risks, working with the 1st line teams, root cause analysis on internal Tech operational risk events and those that occur externally in the industry.
- Continuous Testing & Monitoring - Perform oversight of resiliency risks through participation in governance forums, Control Committees, senior level work streams, major change management programs, point-in-time issue escalation, industry and regulatory meetings, internal strategic efforts and reviewing internal operational risk events.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Ability to understand complex technical systems and the business processes they support and synthesize the corresponding risks and controls and recommending adjustments if required.
- 5+ years' relevant experience in technology resilience/ technology outsourcing and operational risk oversight with experience within the financial services industry.
- EU and country regulations knowledge (i.e. MaRisk, BAIT, CSSF, EBA Guidelines etc.)
- Adept at developing relationships with strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to take ideas forward and to challenge others, where appropriate.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results with a high level of professionalism, self-motivation, and integrity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Security or related field; post-graduate degree a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential, with specific focus on clear articulation of risks to senior stakeholders verbally and in writing.

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Experience in technology operational risk oversight within the financial services industry highly desired.
- Understanding of Technology & Cybersecurity risk management and control frameworks with a proven ability to anticipate and identify risks and effective mitigating actions.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC are beneficial.
- Fluency in German and proficiency in other European languages.
