Here’s your chance to shape our future together with us Effective immediately, we’re looking for our first **(Senior) User Researcher (all genders)** to become part of our new built Design & Research Team within Beats & Bytes at our Headquarters in **Berlin**. It will be a **permanent full-time position** reporting to the Senior Director of Product Design.
**Your gig**:
- As a User Researcher at Universal, you will find yourself in a diverse environment where you need to act as a pioneer and thought leader in your domain
- You will shape the research culture by working closely with your design, product management, marketing and data analytics colleagues to develop research processes and practices
- To support product and service development in all areas, identify research topics at all stages, from early discovery and ideation to solution validation and iteration
- You take a stance for our users, including artists, business partners, fans and internal stakeholders, by conducting suitable and well-designed end-to-end research
- You are proficient in study design for attitudinal measurements and in analyzing them in combination with behavioral data
- Working closely with your colleagues, you communicate results and proposals in an emotionally compelling and creative way, ideally through visualization and storytelling
**We are keen to jam with you if you**:
- Have relevant experience within the field of user experience, applied research settings and/or product research and development
- Facilitate and moderate engaging co-creation sessions with users, your peers and internal stakeholders to explore user needs and map opportunities
- Master the whole research process, from planning to defining assumptions and key questions to choosing your methods and tools, such as conducting user interviews, focus groups, dairy studies, surveys, and early concept or usability testing to gain actionable user insights
- Ideally, you will bring experience in preparing and leading strategic research initiatives and be able to present research findings to stakeholders up to senior management level
