**What you will do**
- Structured research and analysis of scientific literature on relevant topics
- Preparation of your own research hypothesis, objectives and structure of the thesis with support and guidance from your supervisor at Fraunhofer IPA
- Scientific elaboration, analysis and presentation of research results in a final thesis
- Possibility to publish the results in the form of a study, a white paper or as peer-reviewed
**What you bring to the table**
- Student (M/F/d) of computer sciences, environmental sciences, mechanical, process or environmental engineering, or related field
- Interest in the areas of sustainable production, resource efficiency and digitalization
- High motivation, commitment, and willingness to learn new topics
- Analytical, independent and structured way of working
- Good MS Office skills. Optional: previous EndNote/Citavi knowledge
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Thesis language: English
