**THE POSITION**

Are you a highly experienced Quality Control professional looking for a new challenge in a leadership role?

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- As Head of Quality Control, you will take on the managerial and technical leadership responsibility for Quality Control within Bio Pharma Germany (approximately 400 employees). Moreover, you will play a key role in driving the strategic development of our Quality Control Services Unit.
- In your new role, you will be accountable for the state-of-the-art testing and release of drug substances and drug products for clinical phase III and commercial biopharmaceuticals, in accordance with the applicable regulations and biopharma business requirements, including microbiological/viral methods for Quality Control testing.
- Also, you will be responsible for the execution of improvement projects within Quality Control Biberach with the goal to enhance quality and compliance standards, ensure right first time (RFT), implement new regulatory and analytical standards and ensure efficient processes.
- Besides that, you will support the generation of adequate regulatory submission documents as well as ensure timely and GMP-compliant processing of change controls, SOPs, or analytical documents.
- In accordance with site-specific requirements, you will be accountable for the local GMP lab IT systems for the group.
- The fulfillment of Quality Control requirements from the business into an end-to-end perspective regarding Quality, Time, Costs, Reliability rounds out your profile.

**Requirements**:

- Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, MD) in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics or Biopharmaceuticals with several years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including leadership experience in Quality Control, Analytical Development or Microbiology
- Knowledge of pharmacopeial and authorities’ requirements, GMP environment and CMO business as well as excellent understanding of underlying testing processes. Familiarity with manufacturing processes is preferable
- Experience with regulatory and compliance agencies (e.g., FDA, EMA)
- Proficiency in lab bench work, compounding, material inspection & release, Quality Assurance systems and processes, supervision, validation, and micro/chem. Laboratories
- Strategic thinking skills and change management experience, as well as excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels within the organization
- Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written
