Senior Specialist Sales

Purpose & overall relevance to the organization:
- To support the Sales team to achieve profitable and sustainable market share growth within the team's assigned accounts and categories, while promoting and respecting the adidas image in line with international initiatives.- Key Responsibilities:
- Functional_
- Support the sales team - and when required - internally represent Deichmann & Snipes as an "ambassador" to all functions and vice versa
- Independent coordination and ownership of the defined sales tasks
- Actively support during customer meetings (e.g. workshops, sell-ins) including the meeting preparation and follow-up actions (e.g. range overviews, power point presentations, meeting minutes, samples)
- Monitoring of the order entry in the system and analyzing the orderbook to identify sales opportunities and order gaps
- Acquire customer and market specific knowledge of the competitive landscape to positively influence the customers buying decisions
- Assist in the development and implementation of creative activities with the customer to build brand image and increase consumer demand
- Assist the different sales teams with organizational tasks (e.g. exceptional discounts or product orders)
- Support the Senior Director in administrative tasks e.g. internal and external meeting coordination and organization, travel arrangements and various other topics.
- Main Contacts:
- Sales, Account Operations, WHS Activation, Sales Development, Go to Market, Supply Chain Management, Market Operations. Planning, Finance, DPC, Global and European Business Units.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Good business acumen
- Fluency in English and German (oral and written) is essential
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Team player
- General knowledge of fashion trends, colours and the ever-changing retail environment
- Willingness to travel
- Shows high initiative with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines
- Ability to derive business insight from data, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn
- Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree
- At least 1 year sales experience
- Experience in sports, sales, marketing in either the apparel/fashion/shoe or FMCG industry.
