HR Administrator

The HR Administrator responsibilities include assisting employees relocating to OCONUS and from OCONUS locations, supporting work and residency permits for non-TESA employees, local orientation, and researching and maintaining an information library. The incumbent also provides local and language assistance, and general HR assistance.
Position Requirements
This position requires at least 2-3 years of experience working in an administrative position.
- Associate degree. Business related field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- The incumbent must meet the following requirements:
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, (native or near-native speaker).
- Excellent German language, both written and spoken, (native or near-native speaker).
- General office administration experience.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience in a service-related field.
- Previous HR assistance experience is a plus.
The incumbent must possess the following skills:
- Excellent written and verbal language skills.
- Ability to deal with all levels of internal and external personnel tactfully and professionally.
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to handle confidentiality issues professionally and discreetly.
- Must maintain a high level of communication and customer service.
- Ability to manage one’s own time to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environments, performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to
Work Permit Process, Applications, Legal Research, etc.
- Interface with Paramount for immigration issues.
- Track permit status and expiration dates.
- Research work authorization and country entry regulations to ensure that the company and employees are in compliance.
- Support employees with registering local residency.
HR Support
- Provide support with general questions around living in Germany, German employment regulations and benefits.
- Interfacing with Project Leaders, Managers, etc. to disseminate HR information.
- Sitting in on manager/employee issues as needed.
Terminations & Out-processing:
- Employee terminations, coordinating with management, corporate HR and legal as required.
- Prepare German termination and recommendation letters.
- Out-processing to ensure return of company owned property, ID cards and badges, security de-briefs.
- Coordinate country out-processing.
Office Support
- Employee traffic tickets.
- Translation assistance.
Back up responsibilities
- German employment contracts.
- Commercial HR support.
Abilities
- Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
- Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
- Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
- Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
- Identify and understand the speech of another person.
